5. CAN THIS FACE SERUM BE USED WITH RETINOL/PHYTO-RETINOL?
Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum hasn't been tested for use with retinol. If you have sensitive skin, it is always a good idea to do a patch test first. If you were to use a conventional retinol with this product a good practice would be to alternate days between this and your retinol product. A great alternative is Phyto-Retinol Serum, which can be used with this and doesn't have the same photosensitivity as traditional retinol. We suggest Phyto-Retinol Serum in the morning and Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum at night. If you want to use them together, apply Phyto-Retinol Serum first, then layer Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum over.
How To Use: Massage 2-3 pumps onto cleansed face and neck.
When To Use: As part of your nighttine routine.

Face is so smooth!
I have never tried a resurfacing night serum with lactic acidosis before so I was excited to see what positive changes it might make to my beauty and skincare routine. The bottle is sleek and beautiful. There is a tingly sensation upon initial application which to me indicated it was working! After a week of using this product I can honestly say that my the texture that occurs on my cheeks has in fact been minimized! My makeup goes on smooth and looks beautiful.

Fresh look
I got this serum for free from Influenster and I was so happy when it came in! My first though when I put it on was that I didn’t care for the smell. Besides the weird smell, I like how my skin feels the next morning. This serum has minimizes my pores and makes my skin glow. The redness in my face is going away the more and more I use this product. Despite the smell, I nightly recommend this product!

Instant texture change
My first opinion of this was WOW! It feels so nice on my skin, it has a very silky feel which I was not expecting. Just within a few days I started noticing a huge difference in my texture! I have some dark spots on my chin from picking at blemishes and it has totally cleared it up!

Bright, Radiant Skin
I received this complimentary for testing and I’m obsessed with it. I’ve used it nightly for several weeks and saw noticeably different skin - my pores/texture looked smooth and my skin looked more vibrant overall. My makeup sits on my face better now, too! I didn’t see a reduction in acne but that is not my main skin concern. I recommend that individuals with sensitive skin either (1) mix this with a moisturizer/hydrating serum or (2) slowly build up tolerance before trying to apply this nightly.

I really like this product so far, it does tingle slightly on my skin but it makes my skin look radiant and hydrated. I feel like my skin looks smoother as well. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes.

Gentle but effective
I receive this serum as a complimentary sample for my honest review.... with that said, here are all the details; I have been using this serum for a week and I have to say that the results have been wonderful. This serum is not oily and the formula is more like a light lotion type. I use this every night after my skincare routine. I really like how it sinks in the skin without leaving it oily, or with a white residue.... it does exfoliate very gentle and for skin types like mine acne/oily prone, it does help a lot with the pores, white heads and texture... the scent is very light and goes away pretty fast, so in my personal opinion I don’t have any complaints about the smell because is extremely light and fades away almost immediately.... Love the fact that it keeps your skin hydrated and with a nice glow, to the point that you don’t really need a moisturizer because your skin will feel soft and nourish without a doubt, but I still use my PTR anti-aging moisturizer as a personal preference and choice. Also something to be aware is that this serum contains alcohol, not the harsh one like some people will call it, but it does have alcohol and that’s the reason that I deducted a star and because in my case it does sting for a few seconds every time I apply it. Maybe that’s why other people have commented about the tingling sensation. That’s something to keep in mind if you have sensitive skin. So far I haven’t have any issues and will continue using it... I do apply 2 pumps because I like to include my neck also as part of my skincare routine... I’m not sure if would purchase once I’m done with this bottle, because at my 39yrs old I have transition all my skincare to alcohol free, vegan, cruelty free and “clean” products.... even though this serum is pricey, I don’t mind spending my money in skincare as long they do work and deliver what they promise. We all decide where to spend our money and in my case I rather do it on my skin and being healthy ....

I love that this product is vegan. I woke up with soft skin. I would have given 5 stars if it had more of a pleasant fragrance. It feels tingly on my skin.

Love it
I received this as a free sample to try. I was so excited to add this into my nightly routine. I’m a fan of it being vegan and while I don’t love the smell, I would use it again and again. The serum is a nice consistency & applies easily. I use it and follow up with my moisturizer. I feel like this worked almost over night ‘ my favorite part is that it has helped with the redness on my cheeks. I noticed a glow and more even look to the color of my face. Oh and my face is super soft ! I will certainly purchase on my own after I finish this sample.

I really wanted to love this/Allergic reaction
Simply put, I absolutely love everything Biossance creates. For the last year, I've relied heavily on my Squalane + Omega Repair Cream. It's a damn godsend! However, my skin is very upset at my attempts at this Lactic Acid Serum. It was alright for the first day and I really wanted to see the benefits of the serum alone so I cut out the majority of all my other nightly serums. Towards the fourth day, I had broken out so much, it was alarming (and itchy). So glad this has worked for so many others, guess it wasn't meant to be for myself.
